AISHA UMAR (Pronounced Eye-Sha OO-Mar)) OWNER
Aisha was born in Wisconsin, raised in parts of Nigeria, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) and Green Bay. Like many chefs, Aisha started cooking when she was very young. She learned how to cook from her mother, Zainab, as well as her grandmother, Hadiza. Aisha graduated with a degree in Human Biology (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. During her time in college, she was a member of several honor societies including Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and Tri Beta Honor Society. She also received the Who’s Who in American college award as well as the prestigious Chancellor’s Medallion. Additionally, Aisha was on the Dean’s list every semester while she was in college.
Initially, Aisha had her eyes set for medical school but later decided against it to pursue her other passion of becoming a chef and a world traveler. Aisha’s cooking experience comes from her innate ability to create unique menus as well as recreating innovative food from her extensive travels. She loves to express herself in the kitchen, bringing comfort food with a global twist to every plate she presents.

FATIMA UMAR (Pronounced Fah-Tea-Ma OO-Mar) Owner/Director of Catering
Fatima was raised in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) and Green Bay. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where she graduated (Magna Cum Laude) with a degree in English Literature and a minor in Education, Political Science and Global Studies. Fatima was a member of the English Literature honor society Sigma Tau Delta, was on the Dean’s list every semester and was awarded the prestigious Chancellor’s Medallion.
In college, Fatima interned with Sepia Chapel , On Broadway Inc., as well as the City of Green Bay Mayor’s Office. Fatima was a very active member of the Green Bay community while interning for On Broadway Inc. She helped with major events such as the Farmer’s Market and the Ignight market, which are one of the two most famous events that takes place in Green Bay every year. After college, Fatima traveled the world with her sister, Aisha.
Fatima was also Front of The House Manager as well as a server for a restaurant in Fish Creek, where she gained her managerial experience, familiarizing herself with the food business, especially with the restaurant and catering business, prompting her to open a food and catering business with her sister.

ZAINAB UMAR (Pronounced Zay-Nab OO-Mar) Owner/Head Chef
Zainab has been cooking since she was 9 years old. She learnt how to cook from her mother, Hadiza. She is an amazing mother of 5. Before becoming a stay at home mother, she was a Kindergarten teacher. Zainab raised her children to be strong and independent. Even though she enjoyed teaching, her most favorite role was being a mother to her five children. Because of her sacrifice, all her children became college graduates and now have successful careers. Although a very busy household, Zainab made sure she had 3 delicious home cooked meals everyday. Zainab has experience in both African and Asian cuisines.
